Mike “PayDay” Danielson testimony
I
was raised in a neighborhood known for gang violence and
drugs by a mother who was addicted to just about every drug
known and a step-dad who was physically and verbally abusive.
Since I had been surrounded by drugs my whole life, selling
them only seemed natural to me. My life was a real Hip Hop
song. By the age of 30, I not only had a pretty good sized
fan base in the secular rap world, but I also co-owned a
very successful commercial printing company. Then in late
2007, God gave me a wake up call. Through a series of events
that almost caused me to lose my family, my freedom and
everything I had worked so hard for, I realized I needed
Christ. When God gives you a wake up call, you have no choice
but to answer Him. I did, and the answer was, ''Yes Father.''
J.D. “JDizzle” Danielson testimony
Telling
a story about a past like mine is complicated to do in a
few lines. Born in H-town & raised in Dallas I was exposed
to church at an early age. My parents divorced when I was
5 and I was raised by a single mom. I hit the streets when
I was 17. Already drinking & smoking weed, I returned
to H-town & it spiraled down from there. By age 24 I
had already been divorced & was living in the fast lane,
pushing pounds & chopping rocks. Many times God tried
to get my attention along the way and only by His “Amazing
Grace” I lived to meet my wonderful wife. She got
me back to church & Christ did the rest by the power
of His Holy Spirit. Today I tell others of Christ love &
teach youth how not to allow compromise destroy their lives.
He has blessed me beyond measure: a beautiful wife, 2 incredible
kids, a successful career & most of all, His daily fellowship.
